A neighbor at the scene described what he heard and what happened after the gunfire.

“I’d say between about 10 to 15, somewhere up in there. You just heard the pow, pow, pow, pow, pow. And then we were like ‘what is that?’ and we turned the tv down and went outside and that’s when we heard just the screams, you know — ‘Oh my God, oh my God,’ and then you’re like where is it really coming from and the next thing you know police started showing up and everything,” he told WAVY.
