NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The former Tidewater Dinner Theatre at Lake Wright has been recommended for demolition after the vacant building went up in flames Friday night.
Norfolk dispatchers said fire crews were dispatched to the fire in the 6200 block of Northampton Boulevard at 7:23 p.m.
A viewer photo from Northampton Boulevard showed the flames from a distance, beside the Norfolk Premium Outlets.
No injuries were reported, and firefighters were still on scene as of 9:30 p.m.
