CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A missing Chesapeake woman last spotted at Back Bay Wildlife Refuge was located and is safe, Virginia Beach police reported Wednesday morning.
Police were concerned Laura Russell might be considering harming herself, so they issued an appeal to the public Tuesday to help find her.
Russell, 48, was last seen near the water in Back Bay in the 4400 block of Sandpiper Road.
