NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police say a man was injured following a shooting in Norfolk early Saturday morning.
The call reporting the shooting came in around 12:30 a.m. regarding a man in a vehicle in the 2200 block of Lafayette Boulevard suffering from a gunshot wound.
The victim was sent to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
Police say the shooting actually occurred in the 2400 block of Alabama Avenue. The incident is still under investigation.
