PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – Portsmouth police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man involved in a robbery on Wednesday.
The suspect reportedly entered a store on the 3900 block of Victory Boulevard, implying that he had a firearm. He took an undisclosed amount of money and tobacco products, according to deputies.
Portsmouth police released an image of the suspect, who can be seen wearing a black hoodie, black pants and a black Philadelphia Eagles mask with white slides.
It is urged that those with information about this incident contact the Portsmouth Police Investigations Bureau at 757–393–8536. Those who wish to remain anonymous can contact the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP. If leading to an arrest or the recovery of stolen items, a crime line caller’s tip could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1,000.
