PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man has died after a shooting early Thursday morning in Portsmouth.
According to police, officers were called to the 1900 of Talley Circle at 1:44 a.m., and they found a man with gunshot wounds.
He was taken to the local hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he later died.
The victim was identified on Thursday afternoon as 25-year-old Quashawn D. Perry.
No other details are available in the case at this time, but police say this is an active homicide investigation.
