CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A Chesapeake man has been sentenced to 20 years in prison after being found with over 20,000 images of child sexual abuse material.
According to officials, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received an alert that a Yahoo account had downloaded child sexual abuse material and child erotica. Detectives were able to determine the account belonged to 54-year-old Terry Bull of Chesapeake.
A search warrant was executed at Bull’s house, where detectives located over 20,000 images of child sexual abuse material in Bull’s electronic devices.
According to a release, Bull admitted to police that he had been collecting these images for over 20 years.
On June 21, 2024, Bull was sentenced to 135 years in prison with 115 years suspended following a conviction for 15 counts of child pornography first offense and 15 counts of child pornography second offense.
