Police release surveillance images following homicide on Victory Blvd.

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man was found shot to death overnight on Victory Blvd. in Portsmouth.

Police say they responded to the 2500 block of Victory Boulevard, near Deep Creek Boulevard, around 12:15 a.m. and found the man. The victim was later identified as 31-year-old Clifton Privott.


In an update from police, investigators have obtained surveillance images of two unknown suspects and a suspect vehicle connected to the homicide.

According to police, the first suspect appears to be a male with medium-length braids, a black hat, a black sweater, green pants, and black shoes. The second suspect appears to be a male with short hair, a black patterned shirt, gray or black pants, and black shoes.

Police also say the suspect’s vehicle appears to be a silver sedan, possibly a Lexus IS250.
