HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — Hampton police are seeking the help of the public to identify two burglary suspects.

Officers were dispatched Wednesday night just after 8 p.m. to the 5100 block of West Mercury Boulevard in reference to a burglary alarm. When officers arrived, they found a damaged and unsecured door at Outer Edge Gifts.

After investigating, it was revealed that two subjects forced entry to the business and took several items before exiting through the back door. They were last seen on foot traveling southbound on Wickham Ave.

Suspect #1 is described as an unknown subject wearing a black mask only revealing their eyes, a gray hoodie, gray pants with a rip on the right leg, gray shoes, and a red backpack.

Suspect #2 is described as an unknown subject wearing a black mask only revealing their eyes, a black hoodie with red lettering on the back of “one world” and an image of a globe, light-colored jeans with a design on the back left pocket and black shoes.
