CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Chesapeake Police are investigating after a man was shot to death and another was injured early Friday morning.
Officers were dispatched around 1:09 a.m. for a report of a disturbance at an apartment on Joyce Court, near the 3500 block of Towne Point Road.
Officers located an injured man and a deceased man on the scene. The injured person was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. The deceased man was identified as 26-year-old Kerry W. Eaton, from Suffolk.
Investigators were at the scene as of 4 a.m. gathering more information and the incident is currently under investigation.
