CORAPEAKE, N.C. (WAVY) — Authorities in Gates County are investigating after two brothers were found shot to death outside a Corapeake home early Monday morning.
Caleb Kittrell, 23, and his brother Justin, 21, were found with apparent gunshot wounds outside their home on Parkers Church Road around 4 a.m., according to a release from the Gates County Sheriff’s Office.
10 On Your Side did speak with family members of the two young men Monday, both over the phone and near the family’s home. They say they are not ready to talk about what happened.
Deputies have not mentioned if they’re looking for suspects or have anyone in custody, but ask anyone with information about the shooting to give them a call at 252-357-0210.
Gates deputies are being assisted by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigations.
