Town and Treat: Town Center invites community to annual Halloween event

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – Town Center is inviting the community to join their annual Halloween event, Town and Treat for free family-friendly fun!

The event will allow the public to trick-or-treat throughout Town Center. Over 25 businesses will be involved with balloons visibly shown at their front door to indicate participation.


Additionally, attendees will find activity stations, roaming characters, games, music, cotton candy, costume contests and a special appearance by Janice of Midnight Rain as Taylor Swift. A thorough list of the activities is provided below:

The event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees are asked to dress in their best Halloween costume and partake in the 2024 Town and Treat costume contest. Children under the age of 12 can enter one of three categories: “Cutest,” “Scariest” and “Most Creative.”

Leashed, well-behaved dogs are permitted to be entered into the “Best Dog” costume contest.

Town and Treat also present a newly added contest, “Best Family Costume.” There will be special trophies and prizes for each category, per a release.

Parking is free in Town Center with garage parking being recommended.
