VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — There’s “Something on the Menu” at restaurants in Virginia Beach.
The Virginia Beach Restaurant Association has kicked off the city-wide dining event, taking place from April 23 to April 30. The event coincides with the Something in the Water music festival.
“They’re either providing a daily special and that could be a drink, a dessert, a dinner entrée, a lunch or brunch option, so its totally at the discretion of the restaurant and some of them are naming them pretty cool names,” said Martha Davenport, executive director of the Virginia Beach Restaurant Association.
Davenport said they’re hoping to draw attention to the Virginia Beach culinary community as a whole.
“We are so excited about Something in the Water and Pharrell coming back to his hometown and we just want to spread the spirit,” Davenport said.
Participating restaurants will be spreading festival spirits with a casual groove, cool vibes and great eats all week. Locals and visitors are invited to enjoy daily menu specials highlighting food and beverage items exclusively created for this celebratory week.
