NORFOLK, Va. (WRIC) – Hampton Roads Pride has broken its silence and announced its anticipated 2024 PrideFest lineup.

In the spirit of the 36th annual Hampton Roads PrideFest, they are looking to rally the community in celebration of diversity, love, and inclusion throughout the entire month of June. The pinnacle of the month-long celebration will take place in Norfolk June 21-23, showcasing a stacked line-up of events, live music, and much more. 

June 21, 2024 – 11^th Annual PrideFest Block Party

The pride-filled weekend will commence with the 11^th Annual PrideFest Block Party on Friday, June 21, 2024. This event will close several blocks of streets in the heart of the region to showcase live performances from local drag artists, multiple DJ sets, and access to community resources. The PrideFest Block Party is an 18+ event for the LGBTQIA+ community and allies to start the weekend on a high note. 

June 22, 2024 – 36^th Annual Hampton Roads PrideFest & Boat Parade 

The main event of the weekend, the 36^th Annual Hampton Roads PrideFest & Boat Parade will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Town Point Park in Norfolk. The family-friendly event will be chock-full of entertainment, educational, and celebratory activities, including a full set of live performances from local and national acts. Guests can expect over 100 vendors to be present showcasing queer-owned businesses and allies, as well as a designated family area for all ages. To kick off the event, Hampton Roads Pride is hosting the nation’s only pride boat parade along the Elizabeth River. 

June 23, 2024 – 4^th Annual Pride at the Beach 

The finale of the weekend is Pride at the Beach, taking place at the Virginia Beach Oceanfront on June 23, 2024. The 4^th annual event, evolving each year, will feature live entertainment, community vendors, beachside DJ sets, food trucks, and exclusive VIP experiences.
