Downtown Norfolk is getting its own arcade bar

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The arcade bar trend that is sweeping the country is booting up in the city of Norfolk.

Circuit Social, the city’s second arcade bar, is opening downtown on Saturday. You can find it at 258 Granby Street and the doors will open at 11 a.m.

There’s rows of retro and modern arcade games, a self-serve tap wall with 48 brews or wines to choose from, food kiosks and multiple lanes of “SkeeBowl” — what they describe as “duckpin bowling with a skee ball twist.”

If you’re intimidated by the tap wall, no worries. They’ll have a “tap master” on hand to help you perfect your pour.

They’ll also have family-friendly hours for those who want to bring their kids.

It’s the second location for the Richmond-based company, but it’s not their last. According to their website, they’re planning for another location in Charlotte, North Carolina and are working on their own app.
