Bra-ha-ha winners announced, and raising breast cancer awareness

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — An effort to raise awareness during breast cancer awareness month manifested itself in a display of decorated bras.

The 17th annual Bra-ha-ha Awards Show and Auction was on Friday at the Delta Hotels by Marriott in Chesapeake. The event was put on by The Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation, and included more than 130 decorated bras on display.

10 On Your Side’s Stephanie Hudson once again had the honor and daunting task of judging the designs to inspire early detection and celebrate survivorship. A $1,000 check was presented to the grand prize winner.

Winners are chosen by a panel of local judges and modeled by breast cancer survivors during the final minutes of the evening.
