NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A concert featuring earth, fire, water and air is coming to Norfolk this summer.

The Avatar: The Last Airbender Concert features a two-hour performance by a live orchestra. Scenes from the tv series will play out on a screen while harmonies and melodies play out. The concert begins at 8 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 28 at Chrysler Hall.

The tour will kick off in August in the U.S. across multiple cities, including Norfolk, before going international.

Moments of Aang, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Zuko and more will have a musical twist as it brings viewers into the world of Avatar.

“The creative mastermind behind the original music for the Avatar: The Last Airbender animated series, Emmy Award-winning composer and musician Jeremy Zuckerman, has teamed up with show co-creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko as well as Jeff Adams (the show’s original editor) to expand the series original compositions for the concert series,” a release states.
