PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – This year marks the 30th annual Holiday Lights at the Beach, but riding your bike under the lights did not start until a couple of years ago. You have plenty of opportunity to ride under the lights in your car on the boardwalk, but there’s only a limited chance to ride your bike under the lights. It happened last Thursday night with rain in the forecast. While many decided to skip the event, the few who did ride in the rain said they had a great time!
