PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Among all the teachers in the country, the Country Music Association has selected 30 music educators who are exceeding expectations in their duties. One of these exceptional music teachers is Taylor Walkup-Amos, who hails from Chesapeake. We had the chance to meet her at Yorktown Elementary School, where she is making a profound impact on her students’ lives through the magic of music on a daily basis.
