PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — From working in the White House, to working to build homes that bring hope and change the lives of families in our community, Janet V. Green has always had a heart for service and solving problems. Now, after more than 20 years at the helm of Habitat for Humanity Peninsula and Greater Williamsburg, she’s set to retire next January.
