PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Brittany White hasn’t always had the best relationship with religion, despite growing up as the child of two pastors. After a period of not feeling welcome in the church, she returned to her Christian roots and found herself.
She started a movement she calls “Saved Girl Summer,” combining ministry with hip hop and pop culture with the goal of inspiring a new generation of women to follow their dreams without losing their faith. Learn more about Brittany in this week’s I Am Hampton Roads.
