Two days down, two to go at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) is slated to deliver the keynote remarks Wednesday — his highly anticipated first speech since former President Trump announced him as his running mate. Former President Trump’s eldest child, Donald Trump Jr., will precede Vance, along with Usha Vance, the vice presidential nominee’s wife.

Tuesday at the convention aimed to bring a tone of unity to the festivities, with prime-time speeches from former Trump rivals Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis. Some second-day speakers managed to weave in attacks on the Democratic Party, ramping up the rhetoric from Day 1’s toned down directive in the wake of Saturday’s assassination attempt on Trump.
