Wind chill values of 29-34 can be expected across the area. In the afternoon, a weak disturbance moving through northern VA may throw us some extra clouds or even a brief rain shower to parts of the Eastern Shore, Middle Peninsula or Peninsula.

Sunshine returns for the weekend, with still a bit of a breeze Saturday. Not as much wind Sunday with temperatures returning to the upper 50s to near 60. Low to mid 60s for Monday and Tuesday.

With a persistent west wind, some soundside flooding is possible in the Outer Banks through Saturday morning. Any inundation should be around 1-2ft.
