Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson is talking about his home in Charlottesville — again

PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Social media has been buzzing with posts about the Commonwealth from politicians and celebrities for the past week, but one celebrity is mentioning Virginia for another reason.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, a former professional wrestler and current host of NBC’s “The Titan Games,” is known to own a horse farm in the city of Charlottesville.

Johnson reiterated this on Wednesday when he responded to a post on Twitter from Josh Billinson that mentioned his Charlottesville home.

In his response, ‘The Rock’ says, “Yup, the great state of Virginia has quietly become my home for years now.”

Johnson has mentioned his Virginia home in several posts on his social media throughout the years, including a time in 2017 when he encountered fans outside of a Charlottsville gym.

You can watch ‘The Rock’ host “The Titan Games” on WAVY-TV 10, Thursday nights at 8 p.m.
