PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Meet Monkey Bread!
He is a 7-year-old mixed breed who originally came to Heritage Humane Society as a stray with a large mass the size of a baseball on his abdomen. Thankfully, the shelter was able to provide him with the surgery he needed to have it removed and he is feeling so much better! The staff and volunteers at Heritage Humane Society have all fallen in love with Monkey Bread’s short legs, big blocky head and slobbery kisses. His foster mom has reported to us that he is housebroken, great with kids, enjoys playing with other dogs and loves squeaky toys. And to help Monkey Bread find his forever home, a donor has sponsored his adoption fee.
