Yesterday, we had some pretty nice weather outside. Temps ended up in the low 80s over most of the region. It was dry for a while, but then some isolated showers moved through later in the day. Most of the precip barely made it to the ground. Anything that did was too light to add up in the rain gauges. Today we will warm up again, but temps will actually drop a bit this afternoon. We have a warm front just to our north, but a cool front is coming in from the west.
We are expected to warm up to the low 80s early this afternoon before the temperatures drop.
Keep in mind that temps may fall a little sooner than 3pm depending on where you are. Areas near the shore may drop to the low 70s. The winds will turn from southwest to north, then northeast. It won’t be a strong breeze. It will only run about 8-12mph. Skies will be partly cloudy for the bulk of the day. There may be a stray shower as the front passes, but the chance for any rain is very small. All-in-all it should be a nice day.
Tomorrow the front will sink a little more to the south. Our temperatures will sink a little more as well. Low temps will be in the low 50s in the morning. High temps will be in the upper 60s with some low 70s inland/south.
We’ll have more clouds tomorrow. I’m keeping rain out of the forecast during the day with the exception of a sprinkle or two. However, there will be some isolated showers tomorrow evening. Saturday is a bit tricky, but the trend is starting to come together. The models are now starting to agree that there will be some scattered rain showers in the morning, but they are drying things up during the afternoon.
There will be another cold front moving through the area. It will reinforce the cool air. High temps will be in the mid-upper 60s.
We’ll cool down even more Sunday as that front sinks southward. We’ll have mostly cloudy skies. Scattered showers are expected in the afternoon. It may pick up even more Sunday evening into Monday. We should warm back up to the 70s by next Tuesday.
