Blog: Rain fills in tonight, sets up soggy Saturday

Update Friday Afternoon:

After a beautiful Friday we’ve got some soaking rains on the way tonight! Fortunately though, rainfall is still slated to move in well after dark. So just keep a rain jacket or umbrella on standby if you have any Friday night plans.

The ragged system will get organize through the night and the light rainfall around midnight will turn to moderate and heavy rainfall by dawn on Saturday. Most of the rain we’ll see tomorrow will be in the morning hours, but most of the morning…. rain could be with us all the way through noon.

Rain tapers by the afternoon as we slowly dry out into Sunday – so we’ll salvage the weekend! It’ll also be very mild this weekend, with temperatures in the 60s Saturday despite the rain! Highs should hold near 60° through Sunday and much of next week.
