Sarah Goode joined WAVY TV 10 in September 2022 as a Digital Producer and Host for the WAVY Digital Desk.
She moved to the Hampton Roads area after living and working in New York, NY. Sarah was born and raised outside Washington, D.C. in Alexandria, Virginia and is excited to be back in her home state.
Sarah worked for Dateline NBC in New York since 2018. As an Associate Producer, she field produced in cities across the United States working on Dateline episodes and NBC longform special reports. She won an Emmy for her work on NBC News Specials January 6 Attack on the Capitol.
Before Dateline, she received a bachelor’s degree in political science from Columbia University. While in school, she interned with NBC News for the Tom Brokaw Unit, and played as a Defender for the Division 1 Lacrosse Program.
When she is not working, you can find her playing piano, out on a run, or at the beach.
