SEMESTERS AVAILABLE: Opportunity available summer only. SCHEDULE: Shifts available Monday-Sunday; Nights and weekends availability are a must WANTED: Hard-working interns with plenty of creativity and passion for sports. You must be prepared to work in a deadline-oriented environment with a positive attitude. Knowledge of sports on the local and national levels desired. During this internship, you will:
- Learn how to edit sports for air in daily newscasts
- Learn how to operate professional-grade cameras
- Learn how to write scripts for television
- Learn the day-to-day operations of how a sports department runs
Applicants must have: 1. Television production courses/background, including TV writing and editing 2. Working knowledge or AVID, Final Cut, ADOBE Creative Suites 3. Good communication skills 4. Ability to multi-task under pressure
