VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — There are a lot of “somethings” to the Something in the Water festival this weekend.

Festival organizers have partnered with local restaurants and organizations, as well as global brands to bring a variety of special events to the Oceanfront — so much so it might be hard to keep up with all the festival has to offer. 

We’ve broke them down for you below, starting with the event furthest away from the main stage off of 5th Street at the Oceanfront:

Adidas Creator Park — On the Beach off of 24th Street

Adidas has built a basketball court on the beach — no, really. You’ll see patrons show off their hoop skills, dance workshops and dance competitions with Pharrell’s celebrity choreographer, Adidas product customizations, games and panel discussions. RSVP required.

Virginia Museum of Contemporary Art (MOCA) — On Parks Avenue down 22nd Street

Festival goers have free access to the museum all weekend long. This is also where a special screening of “The Burial of Kojo” by Netflix and ARRAY will be held on Friday.
 

Pop-Up Church Service — On the Beach off of 20th Street, Sunday only

This special service will feature performances by John P Kee, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Tye Tribbett, Israel Houghton and The Warryn Campbell Band. The revival-style experience will include gospel choirs, dance ministry, local and national worship leaders sharing the gospel and prayer offerings and is free for all.

Fader Fort — 21st Street at Peabody’s, Friday only

This will be a live, musical performance event that focuses on the different worlds of music and honors the city. It’s free for ticketholders, but you must register first.
 

Virginia Beach Convention Center — 19th Street and 21st Street

This is where you’ll find the “More than the Music” conversations all weekend long. Each of the scheduled discussions are first come, first served for all ticket holders. Trap Karaoke will also be held here on Saturday. This is also the box office location to pick up your wristbands and the location where Uber and Lyft will be making their drop-offs and pick-ups.

SONY 360 Reality Audio Dome — 19th Street and Pacific Avenue

SONY’s 360 Reality Audio Dome looks like a giant igloo from another world. Inside will be live performances with Sony Music artists, immersive listening experiences, a dance party in the galaxy with aliens from Men In Black: International and the opportunity to discover the immersive cinematic features of the Xperia XZ3 and Xperia 10 Plus smartphones.

Old Beach Farmers Market — 18th Street and 19th Street at Cypress Avenue, Saturday only 

Located in the heart of the ViBe Creative District will be the Old Beach Markets, an expanded eco-friendly market featuring Virginia Beach favorites – with local food, art, music and more in three walkable locations across the festival footprint. The SITW special edition of these existing markets will include new local vendors.
 

Timberland Pop Up Park — 17th Street and Pacific Avenue 

This park focuses on all things green. This is where you’ll find a larger-than-life Timberland Classic Boot, and a 3500-square foot natural earth oasis featuring living trees native to Virginia Beach, sourced locally and donated back to the community following the event. You can pledge to live a greener lifestyle and for each pledge committed, Timberland will plant a traceable tree for you in Haiti. Other moments include fun giveaways, lawn games, comfy sitting area, solar-powered charging stations, a giphy booth, fresh water and more.

Mainstage Entrance — On the boardwalk at 10th Street 

The mainstage where all the big performances are is located at 5th Street, but this is where you enter. It’s also where the beach trolleys will drop you off.

Boardwalk Activites and Eats — On the boardwalk between 8th Street and 7th Street 

If you’re here for the grubs, this is where it’s really at. You’ll find complimentary treats from local restaurants brought to you by Uber Eats, the Billionaire Boys Club and Ice Cream Chill Zone ice cream truck and ice cream sandwich couches, and more. This is also the location of the Red Hydrogen media machine.
