Nathan is an award-winning journalist and a former member of the On Your Side team. He first joined WAVY News 10 in the spring of 2021 as a Digital Content Producer. He quickly grew into the role, often being named a top author for Nexstar Digital.
A year after joining the newsroom, Nathan transitioned to being a newscast producer. He first produced WAVY News 10 Today, which was named the Best Television Morning Show by the Virginia Association of Broadcasters. Nathan later joined the nightside team where he produced two top-rated primetime newscasts.
During his time at WAVY, Nathan covered several major breaking news stories. That includes a deadly mass shooting outside a Norfolk nightclub, another deadly mass inside a Chesapeake Walmart, and a 6-year-old boy shooting his first-grade teacher. He also was well-known for his attachment to consumer and political stories, as well as all things Taylor Swift.
Nathan received an undergraduate degree in Communication, Journalism, and Media Production from George Mason University. He went on to earn a graduate degree in Journalism and Media Studies from the University of Alabama.
