PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Search warrants reveal new details on a homicide last Friday afternoon on Fairview Circle in Portsmouth.

The search warrant for the home shows Toni Isenburg’s roommate found her dead inside.

The court documents say the roommate went into her room and found her body covered up with a blanket and pillow.

Isenburg’s roommate tried to wake her and discovered she was shot in the forehead.

A separate search warrant for Isenburg’s phone says she received numerous phone calls and text messages prior to the shooting.

The roommate told the detective he tried contacting Isenburg the day before he came back and found her body.

The search warrant also explains Isenburg’s current boyfriend contacted the roommate to see if he heard from her because he couldn’t reach her.

The roommmate says Isenburg and her boyfriend got into a fight so her boyfriend was trying to get his belongings back from her.

The search warrant for the home also notes a white Ford Expedition parked in the driveway, which belongs to a person that knows Isenburg, and may have been one of the last people to see her alive.

While Isenburg’s mother didn’t want to go on camera, she says she wants to look her daughter’s killer in the eye, and explain what he or she took from her.

Detectives don’t have a motive or suspect at this time.
