Here’s how you can help the victims of the VB mass shooting

Hampton Roads, Va. (WAVY) — In a time when you feel helpless, 10 On Your Side is here to point you in the right direction. Below are the organizations that are offering a channel for you help those affected by Friday’s mass shooting.

10 On Your Side has partnered with United Way of South Hampton Roads, Max Media’s 92.9 The WAVE and TowneBank to create a Tragedy Fund for those affected. You can also text VABEACH to 41444. TowneBank is also accepting donations at any of their branches.
Coaster Coffee in Norfolk will be hosting a card making event for those who were effected. You are asked to join from 5-8 p.m. on Monday, June 3.
You can gift your time Volunteer Hampton Roads .
The City of Virginia Beach also has a page set up to how you can assist in the community.
Zoom Room is asking for volunteers to assist with Certified Therapy Dogs to provide visitations. Contact the Emergency Operations Team at 1 (757) 385-4232.
Memorial donations (flowers, teddy bears, cards, etc.) can be dropped off at the lawn in front of Building 11 facing Princess Anne Road.
