PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — A man charged with murder in Portsmouth has been granted bond.

Court records show Devontae Robinson was arrested for second-degree murder on May 5. The charge stems a Nov. 6, 2018 shooting on Dunkirk Street that left 26-year-old Reginald Lamont Smith II dead.

Robinson was later arrested and charged with second-degree murder, but that charge was dismissed in court in late-February. It’s unclear why the charge was brought back against Robinson.

Robinson was granted bond in a hearing on May 13.
