NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Police are investigating a homicide after a man was found suffering from gunshot wounds early Sunday morning.
According to Norfolk Police, the incident happened in the 2800 block of Westminster Avenue and Earlscourt Avenue around 6 a.m. on Sunday.
When police arrived, they located the shooting victim, identified as 29-year-old Derrick T. Horton. Horton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives have not released any suspect information or the circumstances surrounding the incident.
