COROLLA, N.C. (WAVY) – The Corolla Wild Horse Fund welcomed a new baby horse to the family.
The organization announced that the new baby horse was born on Aug. 23. She is the little sister of Castano, who was born on Mother’s day.
The colt’s birth comes months after another horse passed away of colic, which is an inflammation or blockage in the stomach or intestines.
The Corolla Wild Horse Fund is an organization that raises money and takes care of the Wild Horses that roam the beaches of Corolla and Corova.
