PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The entire family can get into the holiday spirit with a free event on the peninsula. The Port Warwick Foundation’s Holiday Tree Lighting is held every year on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. Laura Fisher, the executive director of the Port Warwick Foundation, shared what to expect from this year’s celebration. It includes face painting, fairy hair, pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, music, dance performances, food trucks, train rides and more!
