PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – For 26 years, Kevin Walston served in the Air Force alongside his wife. They raised their three sons in the military life until he retired in 2002. Even after retirement, Kevin couldn’t step away from the Air Force world he loved so much.
He’s back on base as a civilian now, using his military experience to guide the next generation of airmen. We head to Joint Base Langley Eustis to hear about his time in the service and his role as a civilian in this week’s I Am Hampton Roads.
