VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Operation Smile invites the public to the upcoming Fall SmileFest Nov. 16.
SmileFest is a family-friendly festival open to all ages. The purpose of the event is to raise awareness and funds to help provide medical care to children with cleft lip, cleft palate and other facial differences.
SmileFest will feature an international food fair, retail vendors, live performances and a kid’s zone.
“This event is a fantastic opportunity to bring the community together in support of our mission to create new smiles and brighter futures for children worldwide,” said Emily Cruz, events and partnerships manager for Operation Smile. “We’re excited to highlight the incredible talent in our region and provide a space where families can enjoy a day full of fun, food, and entertainment.”
SmileFest will take place from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 16 at its global headquarters in Virginia Beach at 3641 Faculty Blvd. The event is free and open to the public.
