WILLIAMSBURG, Va. (WAVY) – An a-meow-sing event for cat lovers is coming to Williamsburg this November.
The Virginia Cat Festival is scheduled to take place Nov. 9-10 and will feature cat-centric vendors, cat videos, family feline-centric fun and keynote speaker Jackson Galaxy, star and host of My Cat from Hell.
In addition, there will be educational workshops, where guests will be able to learn from feline experts on topics such as fostering 101, how to care for young kittens and managing a multi-cat household.

Saturday, Nov. 9 — Kimball Theatre
- Cat Video Festival: 1-2:30 p.m.
- Keynote Speaker Jackson Galaxy: 3:30-4:30 p.m.
- Funniest Cat People: 5:30-7 p.m.
- Cats: Feral Edition: 9-11p.m.
Sunday, Nov. 10 — Williamsburg Lodge
- Cat Marcatplace: Noon-7 p.m.
- Workshop and Panels: Noon-7 p.m.
- Activities and Games: Noon-7 p.m.
According to a release, the 2024 Cat Video Festival will help to raise funds for cats in need through a donation to the Heritage Humane Society.
Guests attending the interactive Cats: Feral Edition will have the opportunity to heckle, hiss and sing along to the 2019 movie adaptation of the musical Cats.
