PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Sentara hosted a mega job and health fair in Portsmouth and Hampton Thursday, with people able to apply for jobs and get flu shots, health screenings, 3D mammograms and more.

The first fair was Thursday at the Children’s Museum of Virginia in Portsmouth. The second fair will be Friday at the Boo Williams Sportsplex in Hampton from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Attendees will also be able to receive a gift card after getting a flu vaccine and 3D mammogram.

Participants are asked to bring their health insurance information, though it is not required. Anyone who needs help renewing their insurance can seek help at the event. The timing is right, since open enrollment starts on Friday in the Commonwealth. Sentara is also using this as a job fair for its open positions.
