KILL DEVIL HILLS, N.C. (WAVY) – The Kill Devil Hills Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in locating a suspect involved in an ongoing scam and larceny investigation.
According to officials, as a result of the scam and larceny, an elderly Kill Devil Hills woman has lost almost their entire retirement fund.

Police said the suspect is believed to be residing in either the Hampton Roads area, in Richmond or in New York City.
