NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead after a shooting in Norfolk on Sunday night, according to police.
Around 9:40 p.m., Norfolk police responded to the 1600 block of Hunter Street near A Avenue. Upon arrival they found Jared A. Jordan, 49, of Norfolk suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound.
Jordan was rushed to the hospital where he later died.
At this time, police have not released any suspect information.
