Update: Newport News Police Department said Friday afternoon that Eric Lamont Lamb has been located and is safe.
NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Virginia State Police have issued a critically missing adult alert on behalf of the Newport News Police Department (NNPD) for a missing 57-year-old man.
According to officials, Eric Lamont Lamb was last seen around 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 26 on Hull Street and Cowardin Avenue in the Richmond metro region.
Lamb is descried as a Black male standing at six-foot-one and weighing around 165 pounds. Police said he is possibly driving a 2021 Nissan Versa with Virginia plates ‘TPE-1972.’
Police said Lamb’s disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
