PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) – The United States Olympic team won a combined 40 gold medals at the Summer Olympic Games in Paris. One of those gold medals was awarded to Chesapeake native, Grant Holloway. The former Grassfield Grizzly won the 110-meter hurdles back in July.

The City of Chesapeake recently honored him by giving him the key to the city at a meet-and-greet. Holloway told Chris Reckling that when he crossed the finish line at Paris — all of Hampton Roads crossed it with him. Find out more about his Olympic journey in this week’s Reck on the Road.
