Norfolk, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk Police responded to the report of a gunshot disturbance in a 7-Eleven parking lot on Monday morning.
The preliminary investigation revealed that two people, including Kanisha L. Jackson, 26, had been having an altercation when a weapon was fired. The incident occurred in the parking lot of 2515 Monticello Avenue.
Detectives charged Jackson with reckless handling of a firearm. Police say additional charges are pending.
No injuries were reported.
