NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — One person was injured and another arrested in a domestic-related incident on West Ocean View Avenue in Norfolk Friday night, police said.
Norfolk Police said officers responded to a home in the 400 block of W. Ocean View Ave. around 10 p.m. for a report of a violent domestic call.
When officers arrived, they found a person suffering from lacerations, police said, and that person was taken to the hospital and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, Gwendolyn M. Besier-Tapia, 56, of Virginia Beach, was taken into custody and charged with aggravated domestic assault, according to police.
