One more round of thunderstorms for the region Friday morning before the weather drastically improves this weekend.
Track 1
Last Resort by Papa Roach
What’s left of Debby throws us a last batch of thunderstorms Friday morning… the commute could feature tropical downpours and potentially damaging wind gusts. Be sure to stay weather aware through the morning. Fortunately, it won’t rain all day, as the scattered t-storms should move out by the late morning/early afternoon.
Track 2
The Wind by Yusuf / Cat Stevens
The breeze remains blustery out of the south but will quickly turn more southwesterly Friday, this will help alleviate our minor tidal flooding concern for the Albemarle, Currituck and Back Bay Sounds. After the morning t-storms, we could be left with departing clouds and a warm breeze.
Track 3
I Wanna Get Better by Bleachers
As the trailing front from Debby sweeps through the region Saturday, we’ll look for a much better weekend of weather. Expect some stubborn clouds Saturday with a lingering shower or two, then brighter conditions by Sunday. Lower humidity sinks in by Sunday, too!
Stay weather aware for early Friday, then we’ll be able to enjoy a nice weekend!
