PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Verizon authorized retailer, Round Room, LLC will hold it 12th Annual “School Rocks Backpack Giveaway” event Sunday.
Round Room hopes to lessen the financial burden on families by providing backpacks, one of the more expensive items on the back-to-school supply list.
This year, clear backpacks will be available to meet the requirements of some school divisions around Hampton Roads.
Lines are expected to form before the backpack giveaway begins at 1 p.m. at the following locations:
