NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man is dead after an overnight shooting in Norfolk, according to police.
Around 1:20 a.m. Saturday morning, police responded to the 1800 block of Core Avenue for a shooting.
The man, later identified as Bradley K. Kortbawi, 44, of Norfolk, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later charged 56-year-old Vandes Jackson of Norfolk with second-degree murder and use of a firearm.
Jackson is currently being held in Norfolk City Jail without bond.
